Atheistc é um projeto de Dilpho Castro (co-fundador e guitarrista da banda Silent Cry) e Joyce Vasconcelos.

O som da banda é uma combinação de Dark Metal com “Orchestral Atmospheric” muito eficiente e totalmente original. A temática da banda gira em torno das incoerências e das divergências do cristianismo e de suas subdivisões.

O primeiro lançamento foi o CD demo “The Angel of the Dark Garden”, com quatro faixas. O album de estréia “The End of the Christian Age” saiu logo depois, com dez faixas e um livreto de 16 páginas. O album teve boa repercussão pelo público e crítica especializada, comprovanto toda sua qualidade e autenticidade. Esse albúm contou com participações pra lá de especiais como Lord Vlad (Malefactor) na faixa "The End of The Christian Age", Fabila Tozi (Silent Cry) na faixa "Romantic Sin" e André Damien (Paradise in Flames) na faixa "The Throne’s Fall".

A banda atualmente está em estúdio gravando o seu segundo album e já liberaram na web o single “Killing My Religion”, que dá uma boa idéia do que vem por aí.
